Abstracts are currently being accepted for the academic bootcamp “Building together the future of education: Innovation, interdisciplinary research, and open science". Registration and attendance without submission of abstracts is also welcome.
This 3-day activity will take place between 29th and 31st October 2023 in Comillas, Cantabria, Spain. It is organised by the Tecnologico de Monterrey, the Institute for the Future of Education, The Innovation Hub Europe, UNESCO, and the University of Leeds. Given its nature, it is ideal for PhD students in a variety of disciplines, as well as for more established researchers and educators.
There are five themes for this bootcamp which include defining interdisciplinary educational research at the frontiers of knowledge, United Nations sustainable development goals and interdisciplinary research, open science in the framework of sustainability, academic and scientific networks to mobilize knowledge-based responses with social impact, and the use of technological tools for research.
The event will lead to a high-quality open publication in which participants will incorporate new knowledge and experiences and share diverse perspectives and challenges in Frontier Knowledge. It will also contribute to existing and new interdisciplinary and open networks, such as the Knowledge Equity Network, to build solutions that address the challenges and comprehensive needs of society.
